The Turmeric Lime Bone Broth Latte of Your Dreams
OK, OK, so I know what you’re thinking. A bone broth latte??? That sounds disgusting. Well, guess what? It’s delicious! And nutritious! And full of anti-inflammatory ingredients like turmeric and ginger, and lots of antioxidants like cilantro and lime.
3 Reasons Why You Need to Make This Breakfast Skillet
Y'all this healthful AIP/Paleo breakfast has been my jam the last few days! And you asked, so here it is. It’s also super easy. All you need is ground meat of your choice, a starchy vegetable of your choice, a leafy green of your choice, and a fat of your choice. Top it off with some spices and you’re golden!
Let's Talk About (Dietary) Fat
Raise your hand if you were taught that all dietary fat is bad. It’s OK if you did; the sugar and anti-fat lobbyists made sure that was at the forefront of media conversation from the late 1960s until about 10-15 years ago. Fat is used to store energy, make hormones, and transport vitamins. It also insulates the myelin sheath that protects our nerves, makes up the cell membrane that protects our cells, and makes up 60% of our brain.
Of Stress and Lavender
Enter lavender. Whether you’re inhaling its soothing aromas via essential oils, tasting it paired with strawberries in a slightly sweet fruit tart, rubbing the flowers between your fingers to smell its ever-so-faint perfume, or drying it out to put on display, lavender is calming, soothing, and emotionally uplifting.
The Art of Salad Making
